Welsh charities benefit from CM2000’s attendance at NSSC

When homecare monitoring specialist, CM2000, attended the National Social Services Conference in Llandudno they distributed charity tokens to allow delegates visiting their stand to make donations to three Welsh charities.

The initiative was a huge success and charities that received donations were keen to pass on their thanks to all involved:

Margaret Hollings, Head of Fundraising at St David’s Hospice said “Thank you so much for your recent donation. This will be put to immediate use to help us provide a high level of care for all our patients and their families. Thank you so much for your support.”

Simi Epstein, Director of Fundraising at Hope House Children’s Hospice said “On behalf of all the children and families who have benefitted from your kindness, please accept our heartfelt thanks. Your financial support means the world to us.”

Linda Simms, Finance and Admin Manager at Advocacy Support Cymru said “Please pass on our thanks to all those who chose our charity. The donation will help us staff our Saturday response line to take weekend referrals.”

CM2000’s Welsh Manager, Maria Booth, commented “Instead of opting for typical exhibition stand give-aways we wanted to do something a bit different that added value to the community. We asked our customers to suggest charities they would like to raise funds for. The tokens were extremely popular with delegates and we are delighted with the response to the initiative.”
