15 November 2017 / Categories: News Join the conversation on ‘Outcomes-Based Payment Mechanisms’ for homecare CM2000 are delighted to be working with Atlantic Customer Solutions to progress the payment issues that are currently limiting the roll-out of Outcomes-Based Commissioning. For the last few years, Atlantic has led a national dialogue on Outcomes- Based Commissioning through a series of workshops, attended by over 50 Local Authority and NHS commissioning organisations, Providers, and academics working together to explore and resolve challenges with this new model. One of the major challenges identified has been a payment mechanism that allows commissioners to pay on outcomes. CM2000 processed over £200m+ in Provider payments for Local Authority customers in 2016 alone, and has extensive experience of working with Councils who are keen to deliver Outcomes-Based Commissioning using our Outcomes Assessment Platform. With an impetus to find a workable solution that offers fair financial incentives to Providers, CM2000 and Atlantic will be running a workshop on Friday 9th February 2018 in central London to look at payment models under development, and explore what could be done better in future. Charges to attend the workshop will be waived for customers of both CM2000 and Atlantic.
